From what Naoto told me, Japense highschool starts at the same time most high schools in my area start. On the other hand it seems like he had much more homework than me. I'm interested in finding out why some Japanese students would rather come to america for school instead of staying in japan.

Interveiw
なおとさん の 高校 は とても たのしかった と言っていました。なおとさん の ともだち は あそびました でも なおとさん は にんきがありませんでした。なおとさん の 高校７：３０時に はじまって それから ６：３０時に おわりました。べんきょうする のがきらい でしたから、とても とても つまらなかった。えいご の しゅくだい は むずかしい と言っていました。アルビトじゃありませんでしたから、たくさん べんきょうした と言っていました。 しゅまつ は たいてい ＢＡＳＥＢＡＬＬ お した と言っていました。 ＢＡＳＥＢＡＬＬ お したから よかった ＰＬＡＹＥＲ．ＧＩＲＬＦＲＩＥＮＤ と ありません と言っていました。

ReplyDeleteI heard sometimes Japanese students come to US high school to escape Japan, e.g., they got bullied, they don't wanna go to Japanese high schools, they cannot find anything in Japan...
I think the reason why they want to come to the US for school is because here, we are so well off!!! We arent stressed to study hard, do homework, or go to cram school. We have too much freedom here and they dont have that in Japan, however, I feel like in the school systems in Japan are better in the long run.
